When you are hiring entertainment during covid19 or at any time, you should ask the entertainer or company you are interested in hiring a TON OF QUESTIONS.

As many questions that you want to ask, all types of questions you may have – EVEN if you think your questions might be a little annoying or “extra”, they are not.

If the entertainment company you are talking with is not excited and EAGER to answer your questions thoroughly and give you all the info you need to decide if you want to hire them…then you should probably look for a company that is professional and that actually likes to help people.

Remember this is a special event that you are planning for a SPECIAL occasion. You have a bunch of people coming over to celebrate, you are spending your HARD earned money – So make sure that you’re getting everything you need to make your event a success – and ask PLENTY OF QUESTIONS.

Speaking of asking plenty of questions and having open communication with the entertainer you are working with, I want to share a short message received from the host of a recent event I performed at:

“Ivan the amazing was just that from event booking all the way to the event. He was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating to the needs of our event. He was able to adjust arrival time day of to work with our event’s dynamics. His show exceeded expectations and provided the perfect surprise for our birthday party. His show was tailored great to our adult group and left the crowd both amazed and red from laughing. It couldn’t have worked out better for our 30th birthday party in NY.”

So Ian was able to keep in touch with me leading up to his event because I created an open channel of communication with him!

I gave him, just like I give all my clients my direct cell phone line. I was notified about his request & was able to adjust the start time of the show.

Making it easy for him to stay in touch, ask questions and make last minute requests was definitely a part of his events success.

That is the tip: Ask plenty of QUESTIONS!
